Roof Replacement in Unincorporated Miami-Dade, FL: Permits, Insurance & Cost

Unincorporated Miami-Dade roof permits are issued by the county and follow HVHZ rules (NOA product approvals, Roofing Application Standards). Implementing Order 4-63, effective October 1, 2026, sets roofing permit fees at $0.113 per sq ft of roof coverage (shingle and other types) and $0.144 per sq ft for tile, including overhangs.
